Video subtitles:
  • 00:15: hi guys we're going to make this bracelet it's made using the herringbone twisted herringbone stitch I'm gonna be making it in four colors so for this
  • 00:34: what we need are four millimeter bicones I'm going to be using a scholar's if you are gonna make around um my my iris is around six inches in circumference so I would usually make around five and a half of the by cons and make the backgrounds part and then
  • 01:01: for this length you're going to be needing if you're using four colors for each color you're going to need around 22 bicones and then we're gonna need 11 OC beads um I think around 3 to 4 grams of it and then two jump rings and your class for your thread will be using fire
  • 01:30: 9.00 6 I think the yards would do but if your hand is a little bit smaller then you're going to use less and bigger you're gonna need more okay um before we start though um if you aren't familiar with the herringbone stitch I suggest you look it up um there are a lot of tutorials in YouTube about the
  • 02:01: herringbone particularly the herringbone twisted stitch that's a mouthful it would be this tutorial would be a lot easier to understand if you are familiar with that stitch so just go ahead and pause me and just come back once you're okay with um with um you're familiar with the stitch okay so let's start um let's put this
  • 02:32: aside so miss you've seen in the other tutorials the herringbone stitch usually just use this on one seed bead for each item but for this one for this bracelet we're going to use um for one item we're going to use one seed bead one bike on and another seed bead you're going to
  • 03:00: treat this as just one item similar to UM just one equivalent to one CP but since we are using bicones and for tubular stitch for the herringbone stitch usually have them side by side right you're going to have that space in between so we're always going to use one one extra 11o in between each item I'm
  • 03:34: going to use I'm going to use the word item for each of these okay so you go ahead and pick one yellow item put um the 11 o in between and then pick up another green item so these two would be positioned side by side so you would
  • 04:00: want since that end would be beside this and you would want another spacer for that one so pick up another 11 o pull it towards the end I would um suggest leaving around and a foot extra Fred you would need it for the clasp on the other
  • 04:30: side or actually um the Rundell of the edge oh I forgot I forgot um I'm sorry about that you are gonna need from bells for the end um April Luther would be nice you can use your round beads or and else just for Marley those um I guess where
  • 05:00: they scholar up for this color combination you can use always a little bit more similar door 11 O's okay um goes aside okay sorry about that um and then you just go up all through
  • 05:35: the seed beads again okay okay then you're going to position them side by side this is the part where you usually do the ladder stitch so you're going to go up the yellow item
  • 06:07: there you go doing it now you have it that way side by side and then I want the color beside my yellow to be blue so I'm going to pick up a spacer and then one blue item I think this is a bit like
  • 06:32: violet I'm not sure it looks a bit blue and then since you're going to put this beside it you're going to make another spacer so you pick up to 11 O's um a bicone into eleven O's and then pull it to beside the yellow and then you're
  • 07:03: going to go up that yellow when I say yellow it automatically includes the seed beads in between and then you're going to go back again through that blue one there you go
  • 07:34: tighten it a bit and then we're going to pick up the pink one so spacer and then the pink one and then once again another spacer so to
  • 08:01: 211s bicone and to Lemnos and then you're going to go in the blue one again 1100 blue one 11 oh there you go so now you have this it's not looks similar to your leather stitch and though you have to go up you know you have to go up the pink one
  • 08:38: we go when I say go up the pink line always pacify I'll pass through the spacer bead so that your thread won't show so now you're going to connect your pink one to your green one so put in a spacer bead
  • 09:01: and then go in your green one oops careful this red
  • 09:34: now have this and then put in a spacer before you go back into the pink one to form this loop think sleeping so now you have this
  • 10:02: this will be your base look this way okay so it's really similar although it is the the herringbone stitch so you're just going to put the weight herringbone stitch work is it it works in pairs so
  • 10:32: you're gonna pick up this pair so they will always be one pair and then this other two will always be together so um so if you pick up on this too you're gonna pick up one 1101 pink sea beat up CPI mean by column then 111 oh and then for the in-between pick up a spacer and then pick up a green one
  • 11:00: so Levin Oh green Levin oh there you go and then you're gonna go down to green one there then you're going to go up the other one pass through the spacer bead in between
  • 11:45: so now you have this and then you're gonna pick up the yellow and blue to beat spacer and then do their yeah
  • 12:05: you're just following the colors at the bottom so there you go then go down the blue one so CP blue and and CP now you have this and the herringbone stitch this is the step up so here's go up two items go up two pink
  • 12:35: ones should I want to impose now we have this we're going to pick up
  • 13:01: a pink and green it would make sense to put this in the right order but yeah I should be okay spacer and then
  • 13:32: I meant to be for this to be the parent and this the para so go down this way I sure that's spacer in between to hire your thread
  • 14:11: then yellow and goo
  • 14:30: you're in the one and then step up so right now we're just doing the regular herringbone stitch now we're
  • 15:03: going to start twist just apart I mean give it the twist so pink spacer
  • 15:32: you go down one green and instead of just going through the same level you're going to go down one level so if you don't um if you would notice you would see your third if you just do it the regular way so what we're going to do is we're going to pick up one eleven oh
  • 16:01: where that in in between and then go up two yellows this is the step up part but you're going down one level so you're going up two items right now just give it the pump to hide that fin
  • 16:40: and then pick up a yellow and a blue and then you're going to go down one
  • 17:10: and since this is the step apart you you're gonna need um 111 oh and then go down one level so this is a step up parts here instead of just going through two items you're gonna go through three
  • 17:32: items get the club to hide a friend it's like how did the other side split and make sure it hides your friend it will show its it will still show but at least um it will be near the clasp so
  • 18:00: people won't be looking at it too much hopefully and then just go on pick another pink and go down
  • 18:33: step down so just pick one spacer and then go up to remember if this isn't the step-up part your step up is around is the pink one you're just going up through there two items through two
  • 19:01: yellow ones go down you're doing
  • 19:31: then pick up your space you're not space room it's red tie the thread and then step up sorry going up three so basically this will be what you will be doing just keep on doing this up
  • 20:01: until you get your desired length and I'm just gonna do one more but um feel free to pause me and um come back when you're done
  • 20:44: if it's showing just bugged you're too young
  • 21:53: so now you can see it twisting so look like that so just um cost me and then
  • 22:07: come back to me when you get to your desired one so I'm just putting it in my last there will be a yellow and a blue imagine attempted to finish this till the end quite like the colors I'm usually not
  • 22:32: into bike colors but it's quite cute that for this demo purpose or just going to stay a shirt last long it's not really through but it's easier to just
  • 23:00: call it blue there you go that's the last one just put anyone seeming to hide the friend through that space or go down one
  • 23:30: to be a 1 or 5 10 min hide the friend again
  • 24:12: and then I'm just going to be a hard part um this is where your thread will really show but should be okay if anybody can notice it ask them politely to step out of your personal space so
  • 24:32: just put them on eleven out then go in here they should be the same level in here
  • 25:00: think to put it in the same there we go so um you know just the other end and to this way if this end should also look that way so we're just
  • 25:31: going to connect everything and I mean you're just going to need a spacer in between so go back to me pink line and then connect the green and
  • 26:09: down the spacer bead don't know
  • 26:32: in the space you're in in between I actually ran out I'm using methi 11 OC beads I kind of like Nikki I mean they're evenly normal almost evenly sized I
  • 27:03: haven't tried a lot but and what I've seen in CDs make area most evenly sized so now we're going to put up a put in there in Dell I don't know if my thread would hold but
  • 27:30: let's see so you're going to use this or no and they're gonna pick up six Seabees
  • 28:03: then pull it down then go through the last one that's where we're gonna um this is where we're going to attach the jump ring to connect to the class take note that we didn't just go back into the rundell we actually passed by through the last 11 oh so use the
  • 28:34: spacers um there will be a lot less shreds in the spacer so use the spacers to evenly to evenly position your Rundell just go up again this will reinforce your passport
  • 29:21: into the next spacer
  • 29:49: you
  • 30:08: there you go Spencer you know when you ran out of thread you can just stick out your needle just put in your needle through wherever you want to put the go in and then just put just put it in back
  • 30:35: okay what are you having I'm having a hard time finding back there you go my music size 10 I think 10 needle so it should be easy for those with clear eyesight then they're mine and then you can just tie it up so if we're tying it up you
  • 31:03: can also do same thing I did earlier within your needle back take it out of your needle I wouldn't
  • 31:33: advise this wind usually use more thread or you smart thread or read another set I mean get another get another thread so you do this two more times and then you you hide your thread so hiding the thread
  • 32:03: with really short ones but this is a nice trick though it's it's easy I mean it's it happens I mean and you just don't want to create another you just don't want to connect another third
  • 32:46: I have bad eyesight and high your dad normally I would make another loop lemon another they're not cut it
  • 33:06: there we go should be fine and then do the same thing for the other inch okay um this color doesn't really go with the light black colors of the bike ones but I blame it for my love of dark colors so
  • 33:33: um if you do this do it with a light color something lighter than one I have chosen so anyways we're going to attach this is a small small bracelet it's it's cute but it's not gonna fit anyone we're probably a baby I don't know um so take your jump rings and and your clasp and
  • 34:01: then with your pliers you open your jump ring let go and then you attach it to the end and then attach one of your class into the chunk bring hope you can see this there you go
  • 34:32: so you're just going to close this yeah and then attach the other end open this one that should turn the other and then
  • 35:03: attach your other gasp the other end of your class I'm doing
  • 35:30: so now you have this baby bracelet beside ya this baby baby bracelet cute little baby bracelet my actual thick baby so these are here bracelets this one son
  • 36:00: and I actually made um made the same stitch I mean this one is made of just plain ol seed beads no bicones I call it my lazy herringbone twisted bracelet cuz I've basically just used for backs and then one one gold and then the connector in between would be another gold so that's how I did this one such a
  • 36:35: cute too but um there are a lot of spaces in between but they're okay I mean they're nice so that's it these are the bracelets thank you for watching
